To help plan your study and enrolment application, follow the steps in this checklist. If you need any assistance please contact us.
Usually you must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident to be admitted to Massey University for distance learning. You must also hold a recognised entrance qualification. International students should view the link below or contact us for advice.
Each programme has its own structure which is explained in the Programme and courses web pages. When you select your courses you need to ensure that you fulfil all of your programme requirements to be able to graduate. You also need to ensure that there are no exam or compulsory contact workshop clashes for your courses.
The programme of study you design will be checked by academic staff for approval during the enrolment process.
For further information about planning your study and credit for prior learning see the pages below. If you need further help with planning your programme, contact the programme coordinators listed in the Programmes and courses web pages or contact us.
The next step is to make sure you know the application due dates so you don't miss out. Note that there are some programmes with special selected entry processes whose applications need to be filled out extra early.
An estimate of your fees will be displayed when you apply online. You can also view fees on the Fees web pages. To help fund your study check out our scholarships and awards. For information about student loans and allowances see the StudyLink website.
Studying distance courses whilst living outside of New Zealand may incur additional fees. For further information see Distance learning study from outside New Zealand.
All students can now apply online.
