Agriculture and environment research funded in population dynamics, hygrometer development, plant-pathogenic fungi and spatial and temporal variations in sea level changes.
New Zealand faces a major challenge: how do we find the right balance between agricultural production and environmental sustainability? The School of Agriculture and Environment is doing research that will take our primary industries (pastoral agriculture, crops, horticulture and forestry) into a sustainable future, and ensure the conservation of our indigenous biodiversity and landscapes.
We welcome enquiries from potential collaborators. If you would like to join us in meeting the challenges of the use and conservation of our natural resources, please contact us.
